Tip #448: Adult Learning in Under 3 Minutes

This is a holiday Tip with a link to a very short humorous YouTube video of adult learning in under 3 minutes.

“I realize that humor isn’t for everyone. It’s only for people who want to have fun, enjoy life, and feel alive.”  Anne Wilson Schaef

I know that this is a busy time of year, so here is a link to a very short humorous YouTube video (Adult Learning in Under 3 Minutes) that Sharon Mylrea showed at the Wisconsin State Training Conference this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lvkJhXnEZk

The premise? Lecture bores participants and they don’t learn anything. Meanwhile, the lecturer is doing all the hard work. Instead of telling them, put them in groups and ask them questions. The videographer says let the participants do 85% of the work and the lecturer can fill in the rest.

Have a wonderful holiday. Tips will resume on January 7, 2013.

May your learning be sweet.
