This Tip ends 2020 by wishing you a season of light and providing four quotes about light that resonated with me.
Thank you for coming along on the Tips journey this past year. I am both humbled and honored.
Wishing You a Season of Light
Although there was much to be thankful for, this year has had many dark and troubling moments.
I have a hope that we will all finally learn to see the light in each other- and live and let live.
Here are four quotes about light that resonated with me.
“Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning.” William Arthur Ward
I like this quote because learning is so important to me. Curiosity is the key to lifelong learning.
“We are each gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and our adventure to discover our own special light.” Evelyn Dunbar
I am drawn to this quote because I believe we all have a light within ourselves that makes us uniquely ourselves, a gift to the world.
“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.” Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
I chose this quote because my aim as a trainer is to see the light go on in people’s eyes as they become confident in their own competence.
“In the beginning there was nothing. God said, ‘Let there be light!’ And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better.” Ellen DeGeneres
This quote helps us end this Tip on a humorous note. I think we all need a sense of humor to survive and thrive in dark times.
Tips will return in January.
Have a wonderful holiday.
May your learning and your life be sweet- and safe.
Deborah
