Auditing Quality Training

Day One: Understanding Effective Training Design

On Day One, we focus on what makes a training program effective. Once you understand the principles of effective training, you will know what to assess.

You will explore the UCLA Mastery Teaching Model, a research-backed framework that teaches essential instructional decisions. By applying this model, you will recognize what trainers can do to accelerate and improve adult learning.

In addition, hands-on practice will help you engage with these concepts. As you gain insight, you will learn how training programs need to be structured to maximize learning outcomes.

Day Two: Applying Auditing Skills to Real Training Programs

Day Two is all about applying what you learned on Day One. Through interactive exercises and simulations, you will audit real-life training programs using the UCLA Mastery Teaching Model.

During these exercises, you will:

  • Assess Training Decisions: Evaluate the impact of key instructional decisions that drive successful learning.
  • Identify Effective Techniques: Discover which techniques lead to better learning outcomes and how to implement them.
  • Conduct an Audit: Apply the UCLA Mastery Teaching Model to audit real-life programs.
