In this week’s Tip, we continue our look at resources to help folks who are considering making a career switch and want to get additional education or experience.
Where to Find Information about Additional Education or Experience
A large number of internet resources are available to assist individuals who are interested in getting additional education or would like experience in volunteer jobs or internships. All of these avenues open new doors for careers. More education obviously provides new and useful knowledge and skills for applying for new positions. An internship or volunteer job will get a person’s foot in the door. The individual will learn more about the organization, make connections, and become more qualified when applying for a permanent position.
