Tip #602: Words to Live By

“Don’t just learn something from every experience, learn something positive.” Al Neuharth

I have learned a lot from Facebook postings and today’s Tip is dedicated with great appreciation to the person who posted a quote from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was an Indian scientist and politician who served his country as president from 2002 to 2007. After leaving office, he became a visiting professor at several universities. Dr. Kalam formed the “What Can I Give Movement” in 2011 with the goal of creating a compassionate society. In 2012, his efforts to improve healthcare led to the release of a tablet for medical personnel to use in remote areas.

His quote offers wonderful words to live by as we begin a new year:

“If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means ‘First Attempt In Learning.’

End is not the end, if in fact E.N.D. means ‘Effort Never Dies.’

If you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means ‘Next Opportunity.’

 So let’s be positive!”

May your learning be sweet.
